Our story began long before we officially met. I attended Louisiana Tech University, and Angelo attended Grambling State University. With only a few miles between our campuses and many mutual friends between us, our paths crossed often. Still, it wasn’t until February 2016, while I was visiting a mutual friend, that we finally met. That night marked the beginning of our forever.

Angelo asked for my number, and from that moment on, we became inseparable. Over time, we realized that life without one another simply wasn’t as fun. In February 2019, Angelo officially asked me to be his girlfriend in the sweetest and most intentional way. After a fun date together, I came home to find my place beautifully decorated, with balloons on the wall that read, “The One.” It was a moment I will never forget, and it reflected the way Angelo has always loved me: thoughtfully, intentionally, and wholeheartedly.

As the years passed, we experienced one another through every season of life. We faced difficult moments and unexpected challenges, but through it all, we prevailed. On February 16, 2025, Angelo asked me to marry him. Now, after years of love, growth, laughter, and two sweet kitty babies, we are so excited to share not only our lives, but also a last name.

Fun fact: We met February 20, 2016 and is now getting married on February 20, 2027. 11 years later!
